PHOBIAS :-

Phobias are not regular fears or short bouts of anxiety one feels in a stressful situation. They are a type of anxiety disorder that cause acute distress. There are 5 broad categories of phobias - Natural Environment, Animals, Medical, Situations, and Other. While the first four are fairly common, like a fear of thunderstorms, spiders, blood and crowds, the last category is the fear of something as mundane as dirt or even technology! There is even a phobia of phobias! Phobias can be the result of a negative experience or even genetics and learned behavior, and it can even affect one's ability to function. Here are a few common and some not-so-common phobias.

01

CLAUSTROPHOBIA:-  Claustrophobia happens to be one of the most common fears. One might feel extremely uncomfortable in small, confined rooms and crowded public places. Being in a confined space and the fear of being trapped in cramped spaces could very well lead to anxiety and panic attacks. Actress Uma Thurman revealed that she discovered she suffered from Claustrophobia when filming a scene for Kill Bill.

02

COULROPHOBIA:-  The 10th most common phobia, Coulrophobia is the fear of clowns. This does raise an important question: how does someone who tries to make people happy trigger such fright? Actor Johnny Depp confessed that his fear of clowns has a deeply rooted trigger. According to him, behind all that makeup and big smile hides a darkness that many cannot see.

NYCTOPHOBIA:-  Many people are afraid of the dark. But those who suffer from Nyctophobia have a deep-seated fear of darkness. The phobia develops over time and people attribute the phobia not just to darkness but also to the unknown dangers that come with it. Katy Perry revealed in an interview that she would sleep with the lights on, owing to severe Nyctophobia.

OPHIDIOPHOBIA:- Everyone knows that snakes are not a common household pet, and a large number of the population is afraid of these spine-chilling crawlers rightfully so. But being afraid of one and having a phobia of these legless amphibians are completely different things. Actor Matt Damon realized he had Ophidiophobia on the sets of his film, We Bought a Zoo.

ORNITHOPHOBIA:-  It is not uncommon to fear large birds of prey and meat-eating vultures. After all, they can pluck someone’s eyes out with those talons. Ornithophobia, on the other hand, is a phobia that causes one to fear even the most adorable household pet birds, like parakeets, finches, and even canaries. Actress Scarlet Johansson fears birds, especially when they flap their wings or get too pecky.

PHOBOPHOBIA:- Fearing a thing or two in itself is a problem. However, having a phobia where one might end up fearing something new is an unusual and unfortunate situation caused by phobophobia. In this, one lives in fear that they might develop a phobia, which, in turn, affects the most basic and routine things and they end up living super cautiously.

COIMETROPHOBIA:-  Sarah Michelle Gellar, who used to play Buffy, often fought and killed vampires and other ghoulish creatures fearlessly in “reel” life. In real life, however, the actress is absolutely terrified of cemeteries and graveyards. This unusual fear is known as coimetrophobia. She is, undoubtedly, a talented actress, as she managed to keep her calm while slaying terrifying demons with ease!

SWINOPHOBIA:-  Unless it’s a teacup pig, many find the creature to be quite repulsive. Some fear pigs to such an extent that the very mention of them can trigger a phobic reaction, also commonly known as swinophobia. Actor Orlando Bloom discovered his fear for the snorky sniffers when a pig went berserk on the sets of Kingdom of Heaven, forcing him to stay in his vanity van till they caught it.

TECHNOPHOBIA:-  Our lives pretty much revolve around technology. Today, almost everything is controlled by one smart gadget or another. No doubt, it can be intimidating, but developing a fear for it to such an extent can be alarming. Although the younger generation may not relate to this, some baby boomers and generation X, living in today’s world of tech, experience this phobia.

EISOPTROPHOBIA:-  It may come as an absolute shock but Baywatch actress Pamela Anderson has the fear of looking at her reflection in the mirror. This unusual fear is referred to as eisoptrophobia and should not be mistaken with the fear of looking at mirrors. When one sees themselves in the mirror, their reflection may be frightening. Experts claim that this could be because people don’t like what they see.

BOTANOPHOBIA:-  For many people, gardening is a hobby and then there are some whose life’s purpose is to take care and nurture plants. Sadly, some have a deep-rooted fear of plants to such an extent that even common household plants can affect their psyche. Actress Christina Ricci once admitted to this fear of hers and claimed that she is repulsed by just the thought of having plants indoors.

LEPIDOPTEROPHOBIA:-  The fear of insects and reptiles is not uncommon. In fact, the fear of roaches is one of the most common ones among other creepy crawlers. But, being afraid of butterflies, such delicate and amiable creatures, is quite unusual. Veteran actress Nicole Kidman does have this fear as she considers their behavior quite spooky. Some also claim that butterflies look unusual, causing anxiety.

CHRONOPHOBIA:-  The universal eternal fact that time will never wait for anyone and is here to remain unaltered is a little scary. However, the fear of losing time is a reality, and people do suffer from extreme anxiety due to chronophobia. It is the fear of losing whatever limited time one has, and they are not comfortable accepting the hand that has been dealt by fate.

KINEMORTOPHOBIA:-  The word came into existence after combining two words: Kine and Morto. Kine (Greek) and Morto (Latin) form Kinemorto, meaning the walking dead, the infamous creatures also known as zombies. Many people may have heard of zombie phobia, which is the lesser technical term. People suffering from this fear find even the mere concept of zombies or their existence terrifying. And it’s not just the zombies, vampires scare them equally.

EQUINOPHOBIA:-  Horses are majestic creatures that for thousands of years have been bred and trained for human interaction. However, those who suffer from equinophobia may become anxious and experience palpitations with stress even around the most gentle of trained studs. The fear is often linked to a childhood experience that may have been traumatic. Celebrity actress Kristen Stewart discovered her fear at the age of nine when she fell while riding and broke her elbow.

TRISKAIDEKAPHOBIA:-  Many people are superstitious about the number 13 and not just Friday the 13th. Triskaidekaphobia is the absolute fear of this digit and has racked up a terrible reputation with time. Late President Franklin D. Roosevelt was so superstitious about the number that he would never travel on dates that coincide with the number 13 and would never allow 13 people to sit at a table.

PEDIOPHOBIA:-  Porcelain dolls or China dolls may look pretty and cute but some have an absolute fear of these figurines. Especially ones with those big beady eyes can seriously scare someone. The fear at the sight of some of these dolls and figurines may be a root cause related to a previous traumatic experience. Magic Mike actor Channing Tatum suffers from pediophobia.

DENTOPHOBIA:-  Be it a regular dental checkup or an appointment for some cavity cleaning or filling, a visit to the dentist can be nerve-racking. However, there are some people who have a persistent fear of getting any dental work done to their pearly whites. It is one of the reasons why many take such good care of their teeth. Veteran actor Robert De Niro has this fear.

HERPETOPHOBIA:-  Fearing reptiles is not uncommon. Many of these creatures can make a person shudder with fright even at the thought of them crawling into homes. However, herpetophobia is a more specific fear of some reptiles, including larger lizards like the Komodo dragon or iguanas. Popstar Britney Spears once admitted she doesn’t fear snakes (also a reptile) but is terrified of large lizards.

AQUAPHOBIA:-  Those who don’t know how to swim may fear getting into deep water, and it is only logical. But those who have aquaphobia shudder at the thought of even getting into shallow water. Many celebrities including Will Smith, Carmen Electra, Snoop Dog, and Eva Mendes have revealed they have aquaphobia. Eva Mendes once revealed that she has never used the swimming pool at her house.

ARITHMOPHOBIA:-  People always associate the numbers 13 and 8 with bad luck. The fact that movies have been made featuring the unlucky number simply goes to show people do fear any association to the digits. However, those who have a collective and rather unusual fear of all numbers suffer from arithmophobia. It is commonly linked to triskaidekaphobia (number 13) and octophobia (number 8)

AGORAPHOBIA:-  The fear of being in public can get very stressful for someone who suffers from agoraphobia. It is not just limited to spaces but situations that may result in a feeling of helplessness. The mere act of meeting someone new and embarrassing themselves can lead to anxiety and panic attacks. Actress Kim Basinger opened up about her fear of public and overcrowded spaces in 2001.

HEMOPHOBIA:-  It is a difficult sight to watch someone bleed. The very thought of it can be scary, especially for people who suffer from hemophobia. The sight of just a drop of blood from a small needle prick can raise their blood pressure and increase their heart rates. It is an unusual but common fear that affects men and women of all ages.

GLOSSOPHOBIA:-  Even some of the greatest orators to walk the planet had to have the courage to address large crowds. Those who absolutely cannot, suffer from glossophobia. It is the one thing common between actor Harrison Ford and a select group of people who have this nerve-racking fear. Julia Roberts, as a child, used to stutter and get nervous in front of a large crowd.

ACROPHOBIA:-  Peering down from the top floor of the Burj Khalifa or the Empire State Building can churn up the contents of your stomach and is not that uncommon. However, for people who suffer from acrophobia, an acute fear of heights, can have panic attacks. Hangover star Zac Galifianakis could not make it to a press event for the third film of the series on account of the phobia.

Inspiring: Why Ajay Bhatt Invented USB But Never Made Any Money Out Of It

You’re working and suddenly you realize you have somewhere to go to. You save your work, but you want to resume later. You save it in a USB and just take it with you wherever you’re going.  None of this seems odd, does it? That’s because we are so used to the wonderful technology around us. But, your work wasn’t always this portable.

Let’s look at the journey of the man behind this innovation.

Ajay Bhatt, a graduate from Maharaj Sayajirao University in Baroda, is now a well-known name in the Silicon Valley. In 2010, he made it to GQ India’s list of ‘The 50 Most Influential Global Indians.’ Bhatt, who is Intel’s Chief Architect and Fellow for the Client Computing Group, already has 31 patents under his name. However, the USB isn’t one of them. He never made any money out of it.

Despite being the co-inventor of USB, he became a recognizable face among the masses only after a TV ad, in 2009, where he was portrayed as a rock star. After that, he says people would really treat him like a celebrity. Ajay intended the idea to bring about a change, and not make tonne of money. Intel, who owns the patent, also decided to make it open and royalty-free, right from the start. That is why today, it is affordable for us.

Just like a lot of great innovations, the idea for this device came from a problem he faced every day. He found the process of connecting cables, rebooting the system and handling the device software exhausting. Every time a document needed to be printed, this long process took up a lot of time.

With a goal to solve this problem, Bhatt started working with his team on it in 1992. By 1996, their first set of products was ready. However, the process was far from over.

Despite the device helping create a single connection across computers, the idea was hard to sell. Even the management at Intel did not initially like his idea. He re-worked his idea a few times before the company approved it.

After that, along with his team, he lobbied to various computer firms to review and enhance the work experience. He says that the company tried to work with each computer firm to understand how it could be adapted to make their functioning better.

This helped evolve the idea as each company tried to contribute to the idea by looking at their vantage point.

Apple first shipped a USB compatible product for the users of the iMac G3 in 1998 and soon after Microsoft too added it for the second edition of Windows 98. Once the big names started endorsing the idea, it was only a matter of time before the product found its way into almost each and every home across the world.

He says the product’s success is only because of the constant innovation and the encouragement of those who believed in the technology. He says that seeing its utility today, he feels happy that everybody could benefit out of it.

He feels the contentment that he gets out of seeing his idea and vision helping out millions across the world today is great. He is glad that money making was never a part of it.

To others who wish to follow his path, he advises them to be fearless and to persist in their journey. He believes that it is possible to turn the impossible into reality, if only you use your imagination to its fullest.

If you have that, the only thing that you need for success, is the right timing, he says. To anyone who is struggling with their idea, he says that one should always think that the best is yet to come.

Generosity is rare quality that most lack. While pretenses of generosity are many, the true trait is almost absent in many. In a world where money and power go hand in hand and charity is a mere word to get some publicity, there are people who do good and yet don’t talk about it. One such person is Khimjibhai Prajapati.

Sixty-eight-year-old Khimjibhai Prajapti has been a begging all his life for alms at the door steps of various temples in Mehsana, Gujarat. However, this man stands a league apart from others and is known for his charity all across the state. He collects alms and then uses them to help the needy. Prajapti is well-known for his efforts to promote education among girls. From giving away pens and notebooks at schools to distributing gold earrings to buy uniforms for girl students, he has been instrumental in helping many girls find their wings through education. It was no surprise when The Rotary Club of India chose him as one of the four people for the Literacy Hero Award this year. The award carried a cash prize of Rs 1 lakh and a citation for philanthropic activities in the society. Among the four winners, Prajapati is the only person who himself lives on charity. Apart from the little that he spends on his meager meals and his wife’s treatment, he makes it a point to give back to the society in his own little way. For someone who lives on alms himself, this indeed is a huge act of generosity. Prajapati says, “I am more content when I give something to the needy. I never counts my good deeds.” He is extremely excited about the honour and the award he has received. He squeals in a childlike enthusiasm when he says he has never stepped out of Mehsana. He is both happy and nervous about all the attention he is getting. The generous man believes that God will help him in his future endeavors, too. “I sincerely hope and wish that every child should be educated, the youth be empowered, and everyone be contented,” he says. Khimjibhai Prajapati was presented with the Rotary Literacy Hero award on 3 March 2017 in Chennai. Rotary Club of Mehsana took care of all his expenses including his journey and stay at Chennai.

This award is a recognition for Khimjibhai’s selfless philanthropy. It takes great effort and a big heart to give someone else, especially when you are needy yourself.

In the aftermath of COVID, private life insurers like SBI Life and HDFC Life have shown commendable speed in returning to pre-COVID levels. According to data released by companies, not only the premium collections, but even the new business premiums and the premium equivalents of life insurers is now back to pre-COVID levels. The benefits accrued most to the insurers with a strong bancassurance channel as the sales were the quickest to pick up in such cases. However, CARE Ratings expects the growth in the industry to taper this year from double-digit growth to single digit growth. One argument is that the pandemic has highlighted the risks of not being insured and that has resulted in a surge in demand for life covers as well as health covers. ICICI Pru Life was the underperformer in the life pack.

According to the World Gold Council, the Indian gold loan market is expanding rapidly to touch a level of Rs.460,000 crore by FY22. The size of the organized gold loan market is $47 billion and is expected to grow at around 16% annually in the next few years. In the aftermath of COVID, there was a huge demand for gold loans as normal loans linked to credit standing were not easily available. Hence the action shifted to gold loans as CIBIL score does not matter too much in such cases. This has boosted the profits of gold loan companies in India as well as the banks that are into extending gold loans.

Good Morning India!

Indian economy: mobile phones to contribute $400 bn to GDP by 2020
Indian economy is set for windfall gains as mobile phone users increasingly drive business forward. Mobile economy in India, world's second largest market by subscribers, will contribute around USD 400 billion to the country's GDP and create 4.1 million jobs by 2020, a report by the global mobile operators industry body GSMA said today.
Mobile economy will also lead to investments of USD 9 billion in telecom infrastructure, said the 'Mobile Economy India 2013' report prepared in collaboration with consulting firm Boston Consulting Group.
"The Indian mobile industry is fast-paced and innovative, but it currently lacks the regulatory environment to support its ambitions," GSMA Director General Anne Bouverot said.
The mobile ecosystem generated about 5.3 per cent of GDP for India in 2012, directly supported 730,000 jobs and an additional two million jobs when points of sale and distributors are included, she added.
According to Bouverot, the report predicts that by 2020, mobiles will contribute almost USD 400 billion to India's GDP, create 4.1 million additional jobs and invest USD 9 billion in infrastructure, with USD 34 billion contributed to public funding.
She said, however, that an absence of predictable, long- term policies in areas like allocation of radio frequencies is acting as a brake on investment, and the government's target of increased rural coverage would be supported by a more flexible spectrum policy.
This would be feasible particularly with the release of more frequencies in the bands below 1 GHz and the development of allocation processes that do not focus solely on maximising short-term spectrum fees, Bouverot added.
"India is on the cusp of dramatic transformation, both economically and socially, through mobiles," GSMA India Director Sandeep Karanwal said.
The mobile industry is ready to work closely with the government, as well as other adjacent industry sectors, to accelerate growth through mobile, increasing technological innovation in India and enhancing the lives of the citizens, he added.

Obama's New Health Care Plan !

Virtually every professional discipline within the American Medical Association's membership has decided to weigh in on the new health care plan being developed by President Obama's team, with varying thoughts and recommendations.

The Allergists voted to scratch it, but the Dermatologists advised not to make any rash moves.

The Gastroenterologists had sort of a gut feeling about it, but the Neurologists thought the Administration had a lot of nerve.

The Obstetricians felt they were all laboring under a misconception.

Ophthalmologists considered the idea shortsighted.

Pathologists yelled, "Over my dead body!" while the Pediatricians said, "Oh, grow up!"

The Psychiatrists thought the whole idea was madness, while the Radiologists could see right through it.

Surgeons decided to totally wash their hands of the whole thing.

The Internists thought it was a bitter pill to swallow, but the Plastic Surgeons said, "This puts a whole new face on the matter."

The Podiatrists thought it was a step forward, but the Urologists were pissed off at the whole idea.

The Anesthesiologists thought the idea was a gas, while the Cardiologists didn't have the heart to say "No!"

In the end, the Proctologists won out, leaving the entire decision up to the a$$holes in Washington!

Fussy Wife !

Banta had been arrested and was now up before the judge.

The judge asks, "Do you admit you broke into the same clothes shop 3 times?"

"Yes," replies Banta.

"Could you please tell the court what you stole." asks the judge.

"I stole a dress, your honour," replies Banta.

"Just one dress? But you admitted to breaking in 3 times," says the judge.

"Yes I did, your honour," says Banta, "but on two of those occasions, I broke in to return the dress I took before."

"Return the dress? Why? I don't understand," says the judge.

"Because my wife Preeto didn't like the design, your honour."

                                                                                                                     As appeared on Net!

Good Morning India!

Both the Sensex and the Nifty are within striking distance of a new high. Investors should stay on the right side of the rally while watching out for sudden turbulence.
It was on the Diwali day in 2010 that the Sensex hit the high of 21,108. After Friday’s blitzkrieg, investors are wondering if it will be another memorable Muhurrat session on Dalal Street this year. But given the fact that the Sensex is currently just 324 points away from its life-time high of 21,208 and 226 points below the Diwali 2010 peak of 21,108, the move to a new high could happen well before the Diwali fireworks light up the sky.
The sense of disbelief, however, lingers that stocks are partying in an environment of slowing economic and corporate earnings growth. But as said earlier, it is best to ride the rally and not agonise over the rationality of it. But do stay vigilant to book profit on your short-term portfolio before the party ends.
Stocks were subdued in the early part of the week, as investors awaited the outcome of the US Parliamentary stalemate. But the bulls were back in business on Friday, aided by news of strong foreign investor flows in the month of October.
FIIs have purchased stocks worth $1.1 billion so far this month. This lifted the hopes that tapering of the QE will be put off indefinitely, leading to an unending gush of foreign capital in to the country, lifting stock prices higher and higher. If wishes were horses…
Economic data continues to be depressing. Wholesale price inflation for September was at a seven-month high driven by price increases in crude oil. Core inflation too accelerated last month. The rupee strengthening above the 61 mark, however, provided some cheer. The next batch of quarterly earnings will preoccupy market participants next week. They will also start prognosticating about the RBI’s next move in the monetary policy meeting scheduled for the end of this month.
Oscillators in the daily chart are positioned in the positive zone and moving higher. But it is the movement in the weekly oscillators that is more interesting. They are beginning to emerge into the positive zone. This means the index could be poised to start another leg of the medium-term uptrend.
Sensex (20,882.9)
The Sensex has not only breached the short-term target at 20,740, it has also managed a close above it. As explained last week, this alters the medium-term view for the index.
It is now possible that the up-move that began from the August low of 17,449 is now breaking into its third leg. This leg has the targets of 21,299 and 22,577. Since the first target is near the previous life-time high of 21,208, that is the level we will need to work with for the time being.
If we expand the picture and take the target of the third wave from the 15,748 low in the Sensex, we arrive at the target of 20,201 and then 21,903. In other words, the entire zone between 20,000 and 21,200 is a strong resistance zone where investors need to tread cautiously. Once this zone is surpassed, a rally of 6 to 8 per cent can be expected. For the week ahead, investors can continue to buy in declines as long as the index trades above 20,312. Subsequent supports are at 20,119 and 19,925. Short-term resistances are at 21,108 and 21,207.
Nifty (6,189.3)
The Nifty managed to close well above its previous peak of 6,142 last week, paving the way for the rally towards 6,229.4. It now appears that the third leg of the rally from the 5,119 low is currently in motion.
This wave has the targets of 6,332 and then 6,723. Since the first target occurs at the index’ life-time high of 6,338, we should expect some hiccups around that level.
But if the index manages a move above that level, next targets would be 6,461 and then 6,723.
There could be some turbulence next week as the index approaches the 6,230 peak. Immediate supports are at 6,016, 5,958 and 5,900.
Traders can buy in declines as long as the index trades above 6,016. The short-term trend will be threatened only on a close below Rs 5,900.
Immediate upward targets for the index are placed at 6,229 and 6,338.
Global cues
Global markets were merry in the second part of the week with the staving-off of the US debt ceiling issue. The S&P 500 rose to a new high and stocks on the Nasdaq too rallied strongly behind Google, that crossed the $1,000-mark on Friday.
Many benchmarks went on to record multi-year highs.
European indices such as the CAC and Belgium’s BEL20 reached levels last recorded in 2008, while the DAX hit a new life-time high.
The Dow put up a rather muted show amidst all this cheer, gaining just 162 points.
It is currently hovering just above the key resistance level indicated last week, at 15,334.
We stay with the view that the strong move away from this level can take the index to 15,709. Short-term supports for the index are placed at 15,150 and 15,000.
The dollar index did not seem too enthused by the debt deal agreement. It declined one per cent more for the week to end at 79.7.
Key medium-term trend decider is 79 and break of this level will mean continued weakness in the green-back.

When you eat a lot of spicy food, you can lose your taste. Last summer in India I listened to a lot of Michael Bolton.

Good Morning India!

AT AN INTERESTING JUNCTURE –
ALL TIME HIGHS WITHIN SIGHT.
.
The good work started by the Bulls in the September series seems to be continuing in the current series. Market is moving from strength to strength and has closed at a very important juncture. Both Sensex and Nifty have closed just below a critical Trendline. This Trendline (Sensex – 21005 and Nifty – 6318) has been providing strong resistance to the market for a long period of time and a breach of this trendline will signal an end of long term consolidation phase for the market and will signal that the market is ready to take the big leap forward. If this were to happen then not only will the all time highs be taken out with ease, but the market will be ready for the next bull move.
TECHNICALLY SPEAKING.
Sensex opened the week at 20534, made a high of 20932, low of 20375 and closed the week at 20882. Thus it registered a weekly gain of 354 points. At the same time the Nifty opened the week at 6093, made a high of 6201, low of6032 and closed the week at 6189. Thus the Nifty closed the week with a gain of93 points.
Both Sensex and Nifty have formed a Bullish white body candle on the weekly charts which follows last weeks big white body candle. Also on the daily charts, both the indices have formed a Bullish Opening White body Marubuzowhich has removed the bearishness of the previous two days. Thus both daily as well as weekly charts suggest continuation of bullishness in the near term.
This week both Sensex and Nifty bounced back from the gap formed last Friday between Sensex 20368 – 20323 and Nifty 6046 - 6033. Thus this gap acted as a support as the Sensex bounced from a level of 20375 and Nifty 6032. Thus a breach of this low will signal a trend reversal in the short term timeframe.
The current bullish rally started two weeks back when both the indices formed a Bullish Island Reversal. Current rally has shown tremendous strength and as a result the market has just closed below a critical Trendline (Sensex – 21005 and Nifty – 6318) and a breach of this Trendline will set the market to not only cross the all time highs but move towards a potential target of short term target of Sensex 22214 and Nifty 6584.
The current rally started from the low of Sensex 19264 and Nifty 5700. This was from the strong Support Zone formed by the confluence of the Bullish Rising Gap between Sensex 19293 – 19444 and Nifty 5688-5738 along with presence of 200dma for the Sensex (19448) and 50dma for the Nifty (5734) inside this gap. This is a critical gap and a breach of this gap will end the current uptrend.
The above mentioned Gap is also a Measuring Gap (Sensex 19293 – 19444 and Nifty 5688-5738) in the current upward rally (the rally which started from a low of Sensex 17448 and Nifty 5118). Then as per Gap theory, the target for the upward rally works out to be Sensex 21289 and Nifty 6308.
This week both Sensex and Nifty have remained above the long term average of 200dma (Sensex – 19448 and Nifty – 5847), medium term average of 50dma (Sensex – 19392 and Nifty – 5734) and the short term average of 20dma (Sensex – 20115 and Nifty – 5961). Thus the trend in the short term, medium term and long term timeframe remains positive.
MACD and ROC both continue with Buy signals. RSI (67) suggests higher bullish momentum. MFI (65) continues in Buy mode, suggesting money flowing in. Stochastic Oscillator continues with its Buy signal (%K is above %D). ADX is at 17, suggesting that the market trend is sideways. The Directional Indicators continue with its Buy signal as +DI remains above -DI. OBV continues to make higher top, higher bottom. Both Sensex and Nifty touched the upper Bollinger band on Friday, but could not manage to close above that, hence no signal. Oscillators suggest a bullish bias in the short term.
The Nifty O.I. PCR has increased to 1.56. For the current month series, highest Open interest build up continues to remain at 5700 Put and 6300 Call. This suggests that the market expects a trading range with support coming in at 5700 levels and resistance around 6300 levels. Friday saw high amount of Put writing at 6100 strike which indicates strong support at that level, in the short term.
The Trendline Resistance for the Sensex is at 21005. Trendline Support is at 20220.
The Trendline Resistance for the Nifty is at 6318. Trendline Support is at6012.
For the week ahead, Sensex will find Support at 20534-20203-19826 and will find Resistance at 21108-21362-21623.

For the week ahead, Nifty will find Support at 6093-5982-5877 and will find Resistance at 6284-6357-6443.

The Confession!

At one local church, Joe was in charge of taking up the offerings.

One Sunday after the services, the priest counted the cash and found it was smaller than anticipated. So he questioned Joe. He told him that it did not seem enough for the size of the congregation. Joe said that he did not take any of the offering.

The priest again questioned him and again he said that he did not take any of the offering. So the priest said, "Get in the confessional," which Joe did.

Then the priest asked him did you take any of the offering and this time he said, "I can't hear you."

Again the priest asked, "Joe did you take any of the offering?"

Again Joe answered, "I can't hear you."

This time the priest yelled, "JOE DID YOU TAKE ANY OF THE OFFERING?"

Again Joe answered, "I can't hear you."

By this time the priest was getting a little angry so he came out of the confessional and said, "Joe trade places with me and you can ask me a question."

So they traded places and Joe asked, "I hear that you and my wife are having an affair, is that true?"

To which the priest answered, "By Golly you can't hear in here!!!"
